Hirakan products are printed or made after your order is placed. Because of this, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for change of mind, wrong size selection, wrong color selection, or items that are no longer wanted after ordering.

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@hirakan.com. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once the order has been sent to production.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, or not the item you ordered, contact us at contact@hirakan.com as soon as possible.

Please include:
- your order number
- a short description of the issue
- clear photos of the item and packaging

If the issue is confirmed, we will make it right. Depending on the situation, this may mean a replacement, refund, or another suitable solution.

Non-returnable items

Unless required by law, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- made-to-order products
- personalized or custom products
- sale items
- gift cards
- items damaged after delivery
- items returned without contacting us first

Returns sent without approval

Please contact us before sending anything back. Items sent to us without approval will not be accepted.

If a return is approved, we will send you instructions. Approved returns may need to be sent to Japan, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days after delivery, for any reason and without giving a reason.

This right does not apply to products that are made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

To use this right, contact us at contact@hirakan.com within 14 days after receiving your order. The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase.

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. We may wait to issue the refund until we have received the returned item or proof that it has been sent.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be sent to your original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
